On dreamy nights –
When the dark sky
Illuminates
With twisted flashes
Tearing through the clouds,
When the thunder
Rumbles and echoes
Shattering the equanimity,
When the million droplets of rain
Knock at my window pane
Hazing and blurring the light outside,
I wish –
We would sit by the fire place
Together
Warmed under the same blanket
And talk, or, read to each other
Some stories
Of love, life and stormy nights
Or sing a lullaby
Until we sleep in the warm comfort of our caressing skin
Thus, creating
Yet another story, untold,
Waiting for moments like this to come
And resurrect the dreamy nights again.
